This usually means the .htaccess file was not uploaded to your server. See this tutorial for details: Links not working in Sngine

Make the includes folder writable (permissions 777), empty the database (remove any existing tables), then run the installer again. After installation succeeds, restore normal folder permissions.

Update the config file to use HTTPS. Follow this tutorial for step-by-step instructions: How to run Sngine on HTTPS

This comes from your database server, not the script. Sngine 5 requires MySQL 8.0+ (or MariaDB 10.6+), and an older MySQL version does not support a query the newsfeed uses. Ask your host to upgrade MySQL to 8.0. Your data will not be affected, and the newsfeed will work once it is upgraded.
